I drew a lot of pinwheel blocks today (lol watching House right now and just typed 'drew a lot of blood' instead of 'drew a lot of blocks' lol).
I'm very happy with them. Still deciding how to lay the quilt out. This morning I sent my boyfriend some pictures of medallion quilts, sampler quilts, quilts on point, quilts with different sized blocks etc., and asked him to tell me which he liked best. He said the medallion style and different sized blocks were his favorite. Might have to have a play later.
I'm very happy with the colours too. I found a beautiful fat quarter bundle by Kaffe Fassett on fatqusrtershop.com in blue. I think that would be perfect with with some kona solid in Nightfall, Everglade, Poppy and Snow. Really want to draw up my design now.
